Danger of Driving a Faulty Car

Here are a few examples to look out for when it comes to car safety.

Buying a car and its security check

Buying a used car is always a big risk. Most sellers do not describe the real technical condition of the car, because otherwise very few people would be interested in buying them. Most of the car mileage is forged, which will be significantly reduced by potential legal changes. Vehicles are also often sold with faulty equipment that primarily relates to driving safety, e.g. cracked airbags. Some dealers do tricks like metal washers under the timing chain tensioners (this allows the stretched chain to be concealed), engine oil thickeners (reduce engine noise and reduce engine oil wear), or propane butane gas in air conditioning systems, which contain expensive refrigerant.

Buzzing, friction, noise and thumping

In this way, a car with a worn or damaged wheel bearing indicates its malfunction. This is a very important assembly because its condition has a huge impact, not only on driving comfort. But also on driving safety. Faults on the wheel bearings significantly impair driving comfort. As the buzzing that occurs can sometimes be so loud that it deafens the car radio as well. Keep in mind that this is a very serious malfunction – which can lead to wheel locks while driving and, in the end, to a car accident. The wheel bearing is primarily an exploitation element, which is subject to wear. The wheel bearing can be exposed to gradual wear and tear and can also be damaged suddenly, e.g. during a car accident. Fortunately for every driver, the malfunction is manifested by numerous sounds, which are impossible not to hear.

Worn out brakes

If the brake light on the instrument panel of the car comes on. It is a sign that something is wrong and if it stays on, be sure to visit a mechanic. The squeaking of the brakes is also an alarm for danger. If this annoying warning appears after a while, it’s time to call a mechanic. It is very likely that the brake pads are worn. The spongy feeling on the brake pedal can be caused by worn pads. But also a faulty master cylinder or brake oil leak. When braking, your car skidded to one side – this can happen because one brake calliper presses harder during braking. There is also a possibility that the brake hose is damaged. Vibration and slower ‘reception’ of the brakes is a sign of worn brake pads. An additional cause of vibration can be the deformation of the disc.

Clutch problems

If we notice that the clutch starts to vibrate when moving or that an unusual sound changes when the clutch pedal is depressed and released. The problem should not be ignored. What problems can occur with a car clutch and how serious are these failures: clutch, clutch, clutch, lamella, basket, thrust bearing, cable, clutch cylinder and similar common terms we hear from the driver when talking about the clutch, an important part of the vehicle. Clutch pedal failure can be caused by a malfunction on the transmission elements between the clutch pedal and the clutch pressure plate.
